It only means that people in muslim countries do not want more democracy and that what they really want is more islam.
It also means that it´s time for the Western politicians and people to understand this and stop looking at what happens in muslim countries through the rose glasses of "the people fighting for Democracy"; it´s not the democracy they are fighting for.
Because in most cases the citizens don't really have a say.
Before Gaddafi fell more than 2 million Libyans gathered at Green Square in Tripoli on July 1, 2011 in support of him and opposition to NATO intervention. But of course those 2 million people didn't count.
In Syria, more than 10 million people gathered in support of Assad. At this moment, more than half of Syrians support Assad but this fact is never mentioned.
@EidMubarak Assalamu Alaikum wrwb- lol you are so wrong. How long has the Saudi Monarchy been ruling?
The only radicals in power i know are those in Iran and Israel my friend. Israeli government was formed by the same Zionist terrorist groups that were murdering and expelling the native Palestinian population to create a homeland of all Jewish people on earth. This is their current PM for example:
Egypt, Tunisia and Yemen seem to have a very solid governments so far, but it is too early to judge that. We will have to wait these governments to be proven radical, then to be re-elected by the people so we can say the revolution in Muslim countries brought radicals in power.
Radicals tend to come to power in any successful revolution no matter where it is. If they weren't 'radical' then they wouldn't be having a revolution in the first place, would they?....the clue is in the term 'radical'.
Cuz under the guise of "freedom of religion' the Islamists are the only organized opposition. And having tens of millions of petrodollars flowing in from the Gulf states sure does them no harm.

If a less radical person or party wanted to be dictator, it would not require a Revolution, but only a Coup.
Democracy is not a well established custom in any of these countries, and it will not have an easy time coming.

The real reason is that a democracy is a threat
to Islam. So any candidate that's for a democratic
form of government is quickly gotten rid of.
