So, Jews decided to crucify Jesus. "Palestinians", if what Dan Dan , Dee and others say, lived side by side with these Jews on the same land. Why didn´t the "good Palestinians" defend Jesus from the "bad Jews"?
Update:Sunset, The Palestinians had their own Community which was 100 times larger in size - and they did not even move a finger to save Jesus from a couple of bad Jews???
What a bunch of cowards!

Well, your argument is kind of void since Jesus was physically killed by the Romans. However, not the point, the point being that Jews were there, when I've seen many say that the Jews weren't there and should get out, which is simply not true. The Jews have a very deep history with the land.
Also, concerning Jesus, while no one is supposed to be blamed for Jesus' death, as according to traditional Christian thought, I find it funny that some posters, most notoriously Stainless Steel, pin the blame on the Jews. As if the sins of the father are automatically transferred to the son. I might be Jewish, but I'm educated enough to know that isn't the true Christian teaching, and I hope more like him learn this fact.
1 Because Jesus was a Jew with just a tiny handful of followers.
Amazing how a Jew was killed by the Romans, then hundreds of years later well after he is dead he gets a bunch of followers, who never knew him when he was alive, and only read writings attributed to him then blame those long dead Jews (and all their descendants) for supposedly killing him.
What if, in a few hundred years, Martin Luther King has hundreds of millions of followers, who then decide to blame all White Europeans, and all their descendants for his assassination by the KlueLess Klan?
#2 Because the Jews did not kill Jesus.
The Romans wanted "the king of the Jews" dead and if they could lie as Jew haters have always done and blame the Jews for it, so much the better for the Romans.
#3 The only "Palestinians" around then were the JEWS, that is what the Jews were called, and no one else was, from that time until at least the 1900's.
lol @ Sunset: ""I am sure they tried ""
LOL, they tried, did they now? Except that maybe, their religion did not come into existence until some 6 centuries later?
And btw, Jesus was a Jew. He didn't have"your Christian way of thinking". He never wanted to start a new religion.
Lol Sunset, how old are you, 12?
To answer you, because there where no Palestinians , the so-called Arab "Palestinians" are a manufactured people...a people with no history and no authenticity... whose sole purpose for existence is to destroy the Jewish State! Palestinian Arab nationalism is largely a post-World War I phenomenon that did not become a significant political movement until after the 1967 Six-Day War and Israel's capture of the West Bank.Plus read your history, Jesus was Jewish and the Jews did not kill him, the Romans did
It was called the Land of Canaan (It was the Land of the African tribe the Canaanites) The Jews (Judeans) all weren't against Jesus and secondly it was the Romans who crucified him.
That's is one dumb notion; So u are stating the Jews betrayed Jesus and its the Palestinians fault? wow
NO ONE could have prevented the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. Regardless of how strong he was, or how many armies they could muster, He (Jesus) laid down His life for our sins! By HIS own free will. What was done, was done by Christ, for US because of His great Love!
Though in the physical world it was the Romans that did the actual hammering of the nails through the flesh, and spiritually it was each of us INDIVIDUAL sinners that placed him there.
Had He so chosen, no power on Earth or in Heaven could have held Him there!
1 John 3:16 NIV
This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers.
Asinine.
they were called samaritans then and had little influence on jewish and roman leadership
for the record jewish sanhedrin accused jesus of crimes committed within judaism and pontius pilate even tried to get jesus absolved because obviously there was no crime within him offering a known criminal barabas instead for execution
the sanhedrin refused and demanded jesus be crucified
I am sure they tried but since it was an internal matter, not even the Romans could not do anything to avoid his killing.
You must know that the Romans did not interfere to crimes committed inside the tight Jew community, unless it was murder or assault on a Roman Empire subject.
Jesus was very sweet and did nothing bad, he was hated by the jews because he had our Christian way of thinking. He was a "giver" not a "taker".
The Palestinians had their own Community which was 100 times larger in size and had no authority or any desire to mingle with the jews. They didn't feel comfortable being among them.
That's the end of my lesson
bye bye
