In our "two party system" (not sure how we got stuck with just 2) each politician blames the other party for certain decisions yet their voting records tell a different story. Is it that no one ever looks at these records?

It's unfortunate the majority only receive information from the bankster controlled media. Seems to me that the media doesn't even really cover it unless there's some kind of sexual scandal attached to it. They don't get ratings unless it's sensational. Most people are concerned only with their own day to day routines anyway, and completely ignore what's happening in Washington. They operate on blind faith that their best interests are being fought for. When in fact it's usually just the opposite. Some, are just tired of trying to keep up because their concern and hard work is wasted on the ignorant masses. It's a sad state of affairs this country is in, and yet people still don't realize the gravity of the situation. They take what's fed to them by Fox, or MSNBC.
There are different reasons why people don't look at their politician's records:
They might feel they're too busy.
They might not know how to go about looking up the records.
They might be drinking too much of the kool-aid and feel it's not necessary.
Or perhaps they just have hope their leaders are trustworthy. I think that's why a good number of people are voting for Obama - because he's offering hope and they want so much to believe we can be okay again.
do you really know how many people really want to look at these records? most of the people are used to be lies to and when the truth come out, they will think its a lie and not the truth. If the politician get caught with their hand in the cookie jar. He/She will bring up all the good things they have done and ask you do you really believe he/she would do that to the people whom put him/her in office.
The candidates and politicians-in-office count on the fact that very few people are interested enough to chase down the truth.
It's a medical disorder amongst many of the voting constituency called..."DUMBERus THANus Aus BOXus Ofus ROCKSus" by most doctors in the field.
