Yes Alex neglecting feelings or fear of them helps no one and now with gender equality our dependance on women for emotional intelligence might end making the world happier. The guy n girl's answer shows it'll be tough to break through unimaginable ignorance of importance of emotions.

i agree to this somewhat. every individual situation is different but it is society that has forced a perception that men can't have any emotions or feelings that are valued on the same level emotionally as women are. this is statistically been proven at this point.
one good example being, if a women gets cheated on; shes allowed to cry for months and be given the holy hug and tons of attention, even if some of it could have been her own doing..
if a guy gets cheated on, he's told to get over it and probably deserved it.
I have no idea, because men are just as human as women are. They are also feeling and emotional beings.
