I don't know if I asked this before, but here's an example. If someone asks a question here and they're pregnint, they'll say something like "I'm only 14,15, or even 16"!! Putting "only" before 16 is rediculous! If 14 is not "only" then 16 is definately not "only"! Instead, they should put "already" in front of their age because 15, and 16 are HUGE ages! Agree? I'm 14 so I have a right to say this!

Those that say "Only 14" are the same ones who say " I am old enough" and will not say 14. They want others to think they are older.
When things change, from good to bad, the age suddenly dimmishes, to make them more innocent.
But where was the innocence when they had the opportunity to become pregnant? At that time, they probably were saying, "I am old enough to make up my own mind and I know what I am doing".
Then poor mom and dad have to put up with.."I am only 14" while they take their daughter to the doctor.
And teens wonder why adults, think of them as being too young to take care of themselves....THEY ARE!!
I hope you do not want to rush life and become a full fledged adult. You have a few years as a teen, enjoy them. Your many years of adulthood, will become boring, and endless....or so they seem.
Try living forty five years as an adult, and the 7 years as a teen will seem very short.
Problems teens have, are minor compared to adults. You reach adulthood, and then you find you need to furnish your own food, your place to live, find a job, work and try to sleep nights and keep working, while trying to upgrade your education, and all without any money coming in, or a place to stay unless you pay for it. Free food, room, warm place to sleep...and no worries.... all gone. Now it is up to you.
Remain a teen for as long a you can.
Well it depends on what they are talking about, like if they were saying they were still doing something that should have stopped long ago than "already" would be good. But something that usually happens later in life like pregnancy "only" would be a better choice. Do you see where I am coming from?
Teenagers are still children working on maturing and figuring out their place in the world. When it comes to a mature activity like raising a child then yes they are "only" teenage and not ready for the responsibility by themselves.
You do troll like a 14 year old, so I kinda believe you.... but even 16 is too young to get pregnant.
I'm only 42...
Typically it appears to be someone trolling attempting to convince people they are a child rather than an adult...
Who knows maybe they get off on acting like a child on the internet...
I'm only a little bit confused as to why you care about people manipulating language to put more emphasis on to its meaning.
