Why do libs keep saying “Bush $4 Gas” when they pay an average of 44% more under Obama?

Then they say the president has nothing to do with the price of gas…….after blaming Bush.

every heard of the term "educated idiot". that might be why. we were paying less that 2 dollars under bush and nearly 4 dollars under obama, which obama promised when he ran for office. he said he was going to cause the price of gas and electricity, etc to go sky high so that we would find alternative fuel. never made sense. we can solve the problem without his promise being fulfilled.

So the reason people say we paid $4 a gallon under Bush is because we paid $4 gallon under Bush.
Gas prices DID approach $5.00/gal that summer on the west coast. Notice the link YOU PROVIDED is the NATIONAL average.

while under Obama the yearly average went from $3.29 in 2008 to $3.57 in 2011 (an increase of only 8.5%)
Only in the illiterate mind of a toothless moron would an increase of 116% - outpacing 23% aggregate inflation by more than 400% - be perfectly fine.

After liberals have warned for decades that gas prices would soon skyrocket and conservatives said to not worry about it, you've got a lot of guts even bringing up the subject. The rest of the world spent the past decade heavily investing in wind, solar, nulear, etc. while the Republicans in America simply chant, "Drill baby, drill". So anyway, do yourself a favor and don't bring up the subject of oil prices.
Next it will be, "Don't blame Republicans for global warming when it's hotter now under Obama".
Compare Obama's average to the average of Bush's last term while accounting for inflation.

Not me. After paying $4.80 in 2008, I ran out and got myself an fuel efficient car and now I am paying half of what I was paying then...also got myself a nice little tax deductible in the process.
Adjusted for inflation it was as high as any time in the USA.
