Christers FEAR everyone who does not FEAR what they FEAR.
They also resent us for being able to cruise through life without thinking there's an invisible beardy man swooping about the cosmos wondering about when to smite us for absolutely nothing.
By not blindly believing their every word, we present a challenge; a threat, if you will. They are unable to prove to others what they "know" to be true, and it makes them uneasy and fearful.
Hatred of others is not a Christian trait. Don't believe every Tom, Dick and Harry that claims to be one.
1Jo 4:20 If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?

Insecurity. These Christians don't really believe at all and lash out when they are challenged because they have a weak foundation.
Projecting are we? I see a lot of atheists doing that very thing.
Most Catholics I know are extremely loving and patient in speaking with beloved children of God who have not yet met their heavenly Father.
They seem to emulate the "love" that their gods offer.
