If the only thing that keeps you going is the thought that you'll go to heaven later, that's really sad. Your life must be horrible. My life is worth living.
They are happy to live for this life only. But they are not the same as horses, cows, or dogs. Animals are not accountable for sin since they don't have a sin nature.
even if that were true is that so bad? Is this not enough for you? Life existed for about 4 billion years and now you are claiming it was meaningless if your imaginary friend who cries when you jerk it turns out to be imaginary?
We have many, many things to live for. We have no need of an imaginary deity to make our lives meaningful and enjoyable.
We also don't need to rely on some sort of afterlife to make this life great.
I live for my daughter, my family, my friends, all the people I meet and interact with. I live for wonderful experiences, having fun, helping others, and making the most of my life.
We have a lot to live for. Much more than your silly god pretense.
Theists are severely limited in their view, those blinders you wear everywhere keep you from seeing truth at every turn. Open your eyes and your mind. Mindless religion gives you nothing of value.

Atheists don't need some imaginary sky-daddy to find purpose. We are quite able to find such purpose on our own.

I'm not an atheist, and I have nothing to live for
I have life to live for,
same as horse, cow, dog.
Sounds like you are just waiting to die,
so you can get to something worthwhile.
And you won't be disappointed,
or anything else.
But you are missing life.
