I’m a female, and she is too. We’re in the same grade level and the same age almost.

In my opinion, she’s different from everyone else and stands out on my eyes. She is not afraid to be herself and doesn’t care what others think at all. This is why I want to be her friend.

I tapped her on the shoulder and waved at her with a smile. She looked at me but probably didn’t see my hand. She looked away without looking annoyed or bothered and kept walking as she did before. Why did she do this? Should I say hi to her again?
