God sent his only son to die for man's sins even after man rejected him. That is all well and good but what about the angels that rebelled why did he not have his son die for them?
Update:I understand we can not know the will of god but I am just looking for peoples thoughts on the matter

While man is ignorant of God, the angels are not. Man can be forgiven out of our weaknesses and ignorance. The same isn't true of the angels who where with God and served Him. The fallen angels rejected God with full knowledge of who God is and full consent of their own will. So they can never be forgiven.
A mortal sin requires three things; a serious matter, full knowledge of it's sinfulness and full consent of the will.
The angels were perfect and lived in Heaven with God, and made a willful choice against Him. Humans descended from Adam were born imperfect, so we are prone to sin from the beginning of our lives due to Adam and Eve's choice, not necessarily our own choice. Since we didn't get to choose, God gives us a choice about how we will respond to His Son. God sent His Son to die for us, because He loves us, and gave us a way to reconcile with Him..
The problem is choice. God did not take away the right of Satan and the other fallen angels to choose. They chose to rebel with full knowledge of God. We here on Earth do rebel but have extremely limited knowledge. As we learn of Christ and choose to follow Christ we can be forgiven through Christ. If we do learn of Christ and still reject Him then we damn ourselves just as the fallen angels did.
Morey000 needs an education. I disagree with his answer. Anyone will tell you that God DID send his only Son to die for anyone who would accept Him, even Satan and his angels. However, God gives every man and Satan a free will to choose Him or not to choose Him. The fact is that Satan's choice is to go against God and that is what Satan chooses forever.
Satan and his angels are prideful creatures and that pride led to their fall. Satan knows the truth about God's Son. The Bible tells us he knows the truth. He just refuses to accept it.
They were angelic beings that had power and immortality, and enjoyed being in the presence of God.They made an eternal decision to try to overthrow God.They are justly doomed for eternity.
Well the bible says that Angels are messengers, most in scripture, spiritual or superhuman beings.
because the story was made up by men.
