Im a graphic Designer, actually im a Windows 7 User and i decided to switch to mac, but i have these doubts:
-I Work in a Enterprise and is a whole day work, but in my free time i work as a freelance designer. This year i have a goal to raise my career as a freelance but keeping my work in the company.
-I want a Mac, that`s for sure, but im having problem to decide between which model it´s the best for my needs.
IMAC: I love the imac, because its powerful and all, but i need a portable device to show my works to the clients and in my room i have my PS3, DVR and my 24" LCD TV that works as my monitor, so i will need more space for the iMac.
MAC BOOK PRO 13": I love this machine, but is not powerful as an iMac. Anyway works as a portable device and i just need to plug it to my LCDTV and i have my workstation. But still worry me the Specs. I chose this model because the price it´s the same as an iMac, don´t have more money.
Mac Mini: No need extra space, good machine, but i think it´s too expensive comparing to an imac, that dont include screen.
IPAD: I´ll buy it in case in i decide the imac or the mac mini to solve my portable needs.
People, what do you recommend?

I recommend you do some serious research! Why you people want to spend a grand extra for a pic of an Apple on the cover is baffling! You would rather spend a fortune on an over priced and over rated, incompatible with the world piece of crap like a Mac when you can buy twice the machine for half the price is beyond me. Why do you suppose Apple fails miserably in the computer market? They STILL can't achieve a solid 5% of the pc buying market after 30 years. It aint because of their hi price either. Its because people who truly know computers do NOT buy Apple garbage.
EDIT: Don't know where JACOF gets the idea a Mac is a gamer. What good is a high end video card on a Mac when 95% of the games on the market won't run on it? How dazzling can a game of checkers get? Oh thats right, Apple finally decided to let its users have a taste of steam games the rest of us have been playing for 20 years.
