In all benchmarks the i3-3110M performs on par with the A10-4600M in games and in everyday usage, the i3-3110M is actually slightly better... Further more, the i3-3110M also consumes less energy (meaning better laptop battery backup) and runs cooler than AMD A8 or A10 series... The only area in which the AMD A8 and A10 series win is in integrated graphics - the AMD APU integrated graphics run rings around Intel HD graphic series... But if talking about pure CPU performance, the i3 would be the better choice in this case...
