And Ceviz, Çengelköy cucumber isn't produced in Çengelköy anymore. Other than the ones we grow in the garden, of course. Sycamore maple? I have to look into that. :)
Update 3:Çetin, that's mouth watering. Whenever I ask about food, I feel hungry. :P

In Beylerbeyi, next to mosque, there is a fish shop (Sorry, I forget the name) and try is grilled fish and try sea mussel with garlic sousse ..

OK, There is a Fish Restaurant in Bulgurlu called Hamsilos, try it Fish Soup ...
If you come to my village (Adlington, Lancashire) you must go to Sharjus Indian restaurant. It is an old church that has been made into a restaurant and the food is wonderful.
I miss the spicy chicken pide from Paradise Pide in turunc when I am back in England. It's so hard to get pide here, I keep pestering the guys at our local kebab shop to make it but they don't think it will sell well :(

Not completely about food but,when you go to Ãsküdar, i'd recommend all to go up to Fethi PaÅa korusu and have a warm tea with the great view of istanbul boÄazı.

if you come to Caddebostan Istanbul don't miss the chance of going to Caddebostan sea coast to go to House café and drink their alcoholic lemonade :-)
I would definitely recommend Iskender kebap at Iskender Restaurant- Bursa :)
