When God said "let us make man in our image," does it sound like God is talking to a peer on his same level, or to someone that is ?

I am still going through and reading the verses you gave me. In fact, I've decided that a complete study of the book of Isaiah is in order. Us equates to multiple gods and "our image" is how we believe they should look for after all the "gods" actually have no form. It seems sad that man has a need to handicap their gods in a human form.

The Father was talking to the Son and the Holy Spirit. First mention in the Bible of the Trinity. That doctrine is there from the very first chapter.
