I usually use "Chotto, otazuneshitai koto ga arimasuga..." when I call a business and ask about hours or prices. I was going to use it in an email to a friend, but I wasn't sure if it was appropriate. Can someone tell me about the usage of this expression? If you could describe situations where you might use Okikishitai and Otazuneshitai or other similar phrases (oshietemoraitai...) or cases when one of the phrases would be strange to use, it would really help me out.
Thanks!
