I´m an English student and wanna know what verb -I´ve already heard it but I can´t remember it- you use to describe the action of faking photos. Thank you
Many people will say that a faked photo has been "photoshopped" or sometime just "shopped". This is in reference to the Adobe Photoshop software that is most commonly used to change or enhance photos.
Adobe are very strict about discouraging this practise as once "photoshopped" becomes a common verb it can no longer be claimed as a brand name protected by trademark law. The same applies with the verb "Googled" meaning to search the web.
