I´m 14 I will be 15 in 4 months. I weigh 149 pounds and I´m 5 ft and 10 inches. I just wanted to know what the best way to get a six pack was. I tried starting on my own by doing 100 sit-ups every day and after about 2 weeks I increased it to 200 sit-ups per day. After of about a month of doing this I started seeing results, but my dad told me I was doing my sit-ups wrong and that they wouldn´t work (I would do it on the floor and raise my torso, also when I looked in the mirror I would see a six pack when I was in the middle of a sit-up).
I just need some help to see what the best way was and if I was doing my way wrong how to correct it.

actually sit ups isnt the most effective way. running is actually the most effective way because it burns fat around the ab area. try running and try to do crunches(look up Six Pack in 8 Minutes on youtube. its about crunches). i play basketball so i run alot. i wasnt even planning to have a six pack but it just got there cuz i run alot. so run alot and do crunches
sit on a couch eating potato chips while playing video games.
