Update:My daughter’s first food was avocado. I made my own baby food.
My twin granddaughter’s first food was sweet potatoes.
My grandson’s first food is carrots (he just started with baby food today)

When our girls were little, rice cereal was the recommended first food. It isn't anymore, but it was at the time, and that's what they ate.
