If yes what is it?
Deuteronomy 7:2-4
(2) and when the LORD your God delivers them over to you, you shall conquer them and utterly destroy them. You shall make no covenant with them nor show mercy to them. (3) Nor shall you make marriages with them. You shall not give your daughter to their son, nor take their daughter for your son. (4) For they will turn your sons away from following Me, to serve other gods; so the anger of the LORD will be aroused against you and destroy you suddenly.

Today's insight is Grace... God's love has nailed these laws to the cross( The Old Covenant of the Law was abolished ... when we have come into Jesus Christ... if we have not The New Covenant, The Old Covenant laws are binding.. to those who refuse to come...to Jesus Christ for redemption
Duet chapter six... is a lovely chapter given to us by Moses... as he says that God calls us not just to respect God but to obey God still. The call is beautiful because the call speaks of a whole hearted commitment, which meant that all of God's people joined in celebrations of life, to live out love for God and others. God gave the Law, so that Israel could experience blessings. Blessings happen when we respond by knowing and living within the will of God. Love God whole heartily and you will do what is right and good and receive God's blessings. Jesus Christ commanded us to live for God our Father, loving Him with all of our heart. This means listening closely and responding to God's Holiness. The ideal was that the entire community would awaken to and love God with all of its heart, man, woman and child. This was and is still today's Gods desire for all mankind...that we will come to Him wanting His blessings... and love, charity, grace, benevolence, in short, His loving graciousness and compassion. Rejoicing happen, as sins were confessed and cleansed through the mysteries of sacrifice. Even in the darkest of times, many came to know, love, trust and obey the Lord. It was a time of learning The Law. The main theme is to love the Lord with all of your heart and continue practicing keeping the laws of God, as these combinations is what would distinguished Israel from all the world.
In Chapter seven Moses requires Israel to adopt a policy of extermination in the coming war for Canaan. Pagans outnumbered the Israelites, as did their gods, so intermarrying would be spiritually a poor ideal as it would corrupt the purity that God wanted to establish. Idols and idolatry, corrupt us! Moses expounds on this with great deliberation so God’s people are not snared and overtaken by that which wants to weaken our resolve to lovingly serve and honor God still in this day. When we are tested by God something beautiful happens, there is a revelation that will either cause us to draw closer to God or further away. Whether we pass or fail, how we do, respond mirrors to us what is in our hearts. This is an important aspect of God’s loving kindness for us to awaken too, Carey, and something we want never to lose sight of. God tests those He loves.
At that time, marrying outside of the faith was a matter of idolatry, so this is part of what God wanted to stop. Also, God wanted the Israelites to love His ways, all the way, rather than fall into the ways of the world. Friendship with the world amounts to spiritual death and decay. This still holds true for us today, the lusts of the eye and flesh is what draws us into the snare, bringing us under a curse.) We are to mortify the flesh, serving God with faithfulness and single minded heart focus. Even great blessings of wealth we are warned, cause us to forget God. Having wealth is not the problem, but riches without spiritual insight can bring everlasting ruin. The focus is always to love our Father with all of our hearts, minds and souls… in both OT and NT… and to come into the place of heart, where the most natural part of us, our spirit being, just wants to love and live and breathe in all of God… Coming into these states is possible through Jesus Christ… who came for us, so we could be redeemed, and come into our Fathers greatest grace… so His consciousness becomes ours… inside out… This is something He has yearned for, since the beginnings.. to have us be One with Him and this is made possible through Jesus Christ, Frist. To rise into the kind of being, that lives as one within God’s breathe.
God is love and wants us all to come home... He loves us...! Let this Divine Love Grace us All, with the greatest portions... in all things.. with all peoples and nations...
Let our hearts be humbled... with His goodness.

Interesting question ...
Certainly, those of us who have surrendered our lives to Jesus need to follow Him. Several things He said while teaching on earth were in line with the Old Testament. However, He informed the Pharisees that following only the Torah (first five books of the Old Testament including Deuteronomy) was not acceptable for serving God.
The writings of Moses (the Torah) that give some directions (instead of simply history) were certainly useful at the time. Certainly, Deuteronomy 30:19 will always be useful.
For eternal life knowledge, focus on the four Gospels, Daniel 9 and Revelation together with some other writings in the New Testament.
Here is a strict caution against all friendship and fellowship with idols and idolaters. Those who are in communion with God, must have no communication with the unfruitful works of darkness. Therefore we must honor and worship only one God and through his son Jesus Christ we will have eternal life.
First my answer is YES, eternal life is within this scripture pertaining to which God one follows and how one interprets it.
This question has so many truths that touch around the one and only God our Father while at the same time is mixed with the lesser God many follow without even knowing it is Satan. First of all, this scripture touches on the lesser God of Satan who tells those who follow him that it's okay to destroy those of others faiths who bow to idols and such, but then he tells them it's not proper to marry their daughters to their sons for then their love of their enemies daughters would cause them to turn away from him who is Satan. The God who angers is Satan, for the Father is pure unadulterated love. For in truth, the one and only Father never orders anyone to kill anyone no matter what beliefs or religion another is for then his commandment; 'Thou shalt not kill' becomes obsolete and a contradiction. The true God never contradicts himself or leans away from his truths/laws which he has imprinted within all who are his.
Now the next part of these scriptures touches on not making any covenant with them nor show mercy to them and to utterly destroy them. This is orders from a non forgiving God. Which also is Satan, not the one and only Father that Jesus praised and gave all glory to. Now this next sentence is quite interesting. 'Nor shall you make marriages with them'. I don't expect you to believe this part at all, but I will share it's truth with you that I've learned through the spirit of my Father and then as all things of this world you may decide whether it's truth or not from my Father.
Marriage between a woman and a man as through the eyes of the world is not needed whether of another peoples or not. Jesus never married. For if marriage was required per worldly laws, Jesus would have married Mary Magdalen. Instead, they were married to the one and only Father through their souls which were alike and in-line with the Father who they praised and gave all glory to. There is no barrier between like souls, no matter what religion or beliefs taught within all religions. That is why the world today is full of so many of what the worldly call 'mixed marriages'. Not just in race, but also religions. When two souls meet that are of the same inner light, their bonding is natural and more in line with the one and true God, our Father, more than many will believe. Why do I say this? Because our bodies, flesh are just the garments of this world that our soul is covered in and the religions many follow are those tied to worldly doctrines that our ancestors truly believe come from God. Though the one and true God, our Father is in all words, their interpretation is what differs and divides all free-will thinking people. Thus we have many truths within this world, but only one truth that truly saves and is connected to eternal life, though you may not believe this. Our soul is eternal. Yet souls that become one with the Father, now becomes immortal. Not here on this world, but within another mansions of the Father that Jesus knew about and shared that truth with his disciples who truly didn't understand it's true meaning when he said, that his Father has many mansions within his kingdom. He's talking about other worlds where men of flesh live in immortality.
Now the God that angers and can destroy one suddenly is Satan, for the one and true Father holds no anger, hatred or any kind of negativity. The life of Jesus was a perfect example of how his Father works and at the same time Satan can destroy any who don't follow him or stay in line with the religions of this world which come from him and him only. Jesus was raised and taught Jewish teachings from birth. Yet, he left the church of his ancestors to follow the Father and lived within the truths given him by the one and only true God, his Father. For his love of his Father's truths was above that love of the worlds truths. Thus the world hated him and killed him because they didn't know his Father and in truth the same would happen today. Example; I'm not of any church of this world. Yet, if my Father decided that I was worthy of him enough to give me the gift to walk amongst the peoples of this world and heal all who I touched, amongst those who would follow me, would also be those who will hate me and believe I'm the antichrist.
The laws in Deuteronomy are set forth by men upon this earth are just of this earth and many are directly tied to Satan himself. Truth that truly frees one up from this world and all it's vain laws comes from within ones own heart and mind where the Father teaches those who seek him outside the teachings of men. Thus your question deserves even more truth but I feel I've said enough at this time. God bless.
