Teachings of Presidents of the Church: Brigham Young, 1997, p.29
“God the Father is a perfected, glorified, holy Man”
Mormon Doctrine, by Apostle Bruce McConkie, p. 742
Brigham Young taught: “the Father, after He had once been in the flesh, and lived as we live, obtained His exaltation…”
Mormon Apostle James E. Talmage, speaking of Christ Jesus taught: “so the Father before Him had trodden the same path of progression from manhood to Godhood”
This is not “new revelation” Mormons, it’s blasphemous. God NEVER was once a man.
How can Mormonism be so wrong about God the Father and ever hope to be trusting in the right Jesus?!

Mormonism teaches the same as FREEMASONRY; that man can become god by his own means. Joseph Smith was inspired by an angel... a FALLEN ANGEL. Do not let the god of this world blind you. JESUS IS LORD.
*Rolls eyes*
If you think that Mormon teachings are blasphemous than your own teachings about Jesus Christ are just as Blasphemous because most Trintarian Christians teach that Jesus is the Father and the son, and the Holy Spirit.
However, Jesus came as a man, was born, and lived and died and then rose from the dead as a glorfied being. So in your own rational that Jesus is also the Father and the Bible teaches that Christ did come as a man and was glorified.
By Saying Mormon teachings are blasphemous you have just condemn yourself to the same blasphemy.
Or maybe just maybe....you're just an ignorant person who doesn't know what you really believe either.
i can say this much, the book of mormon testifies of jesus as christ almost in every page, if not, then surely every other page.
see witness of jesus,
there is a book called: Are Mormons Christian
no one has the right to call someone a "cult" by their own definitions. at least in the Mormon church, they claim to have modern revelation and prophecy and laying on of hands gave priesthood authority under Peter, james and john and john the baptist. the bible prophecies of an apostacy ( a falling away) and all christianity does not have this priesthood authority
The answer is Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is infinitely intelligent. You are not. Note the vast difference. Trust Jesus Christ.
Do that by keeping the commandments of Jesus Christ. Then you can know what Jesus Christ knows...
that THE Church Of JESUS CHRIST Latter Day Saints is Jesus Christ's true and righteous and holy Church.
If you don't ask God which of all the Churches in the world is Jesus Christ's true and holy Church, and you don't keep the commandments of Jesus Christ then...
you will find yourself on the wrong side of eternity.
Fighting against the truth is fighting against God. Therefor seek God by keeping the commandments of Jesus Christ, and seek God's wisdom by praying in pure humility and complete one hundred percent sincerity.
Then you too shall know the truth.
The truth shall prevail. And in the end God will win. Therefor be on God's side for all eternal time, not against God for all eternal time.
Who is on the Lord's side...
who???

God bless.
Christ taught that He didn't do anything that the Father hadn't done before him. Christ was born, grew from a child into adulthood, lived a mortal life, then became glorified after his death. Christ's words suggest that Father has done the same. Perhaps you should study the Bible more.
We are Christians because we worship Jesus Christ, the savior of the World. He was born of the Virgin Mary, He is the Son of God ordained to take upon Him the sins of the world. Through the atonement, He payed the price for our sins so that if we adhere to His gospel, we can be clean and return to God's presence.
Just because our understanding of God is more defined than others does not make us unchristian.
Just because your understanding of the nature of God and Jesus Christ is different to that of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormons) doesn't make US less Christian.
I don't get what YOU believe.... you believe in the Trinitarian version of God.... so that means that God the Father, Jesus Christ and the Holy Ghost are one person...You believe Jesus came to earth as a Man....yet you say God never came to earth as a man.....wasn't Jesus the same as God the Father in your eyes?.... your logic doesn't make sense! There is NO reference to the word 'Trinity' in the Bible.
What make's someone Christian? Is it just following the Bible alone? - What about the many followers of Christ who lived before the Bible as we have it today (it was compiled in the late 300's AD) - Were those people not really 'Christians' who were thrown to the lions by the Romans, because they didn't have the Bible, or who didn't have the Nicene Creed ideas of the nature of God - again that came much later.
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is a Christian church but is neither Catholic nor Protestant. Rather, it is a restoration of the Church of Jesus Christ as originally established by the Savior in the New Testament of the Bible. The Church does not embrace the creeds that developed in the third and fourth centuries that are now central to many other Christian churches.
Latter-day Saints believe God sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to save all mankind from death and their individual sins. Jesus Christ is central to the lives of Church members. They seek to follow His example by being baptized (see Matthew 3:13-17), praying in His holy name (see Matthew 6:9-13), partaking of the sacrament (see Luke 22:19-20), doing good to others (see Acts 10:38) and bearing witness of Him through both word and deed (see James 2:26). The only way to salvation is through faith in Jesus Christ. This is consistent with what the Bible says.
Mormons most commonly use the term “Godhead” to refer to the Trinity. The first article of faith for the Latter-day Saints reads: “We believe in God, the Eternal Father, and in His Son, Jesus Christ, and in the Holy Ghost.” Latter-day Saints believe God the Father, Jesus Christ and the Holy Ghost are one in will and purpose but are not literally the same being or substance, as conceptions of the Holy Trinity commonly imply.
Latter-day Saints believe that God wants us to become like Him. But this teaching is often misrepresented by those who caricature the faith. The Latter-day Saint belief is no different than the biblical teaching, which states, “The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: and if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together” (Romans 8:16-17). Through following Christ's teachings, Latter-day Saints believe all people can become "partakers of the divine nature" (2 Peter 1:4).
These beliefs are consistant with Biblical Teachings.
Whatever you think about Mormons and our doctrine, I know I follow the Jesus Christ as revealed in the Bible and see him as the ONLY one through whom we can obtain forgiveness and salvation. Mormons ARE in every sense of the word CHRISTIAN, and have EVERY right to call ourselves that.
As much right as any religious group claiming fantastic events without evidence.
Mormons are not Christians.
They know it.....we know it.
