May my answer shine a new light on you of our Father above. To answer this I will put myself as a Son of my Father which I am, thus it means this; "For this is the will of my Father. Everyone who sees The Son, (which I am and if they see themselves as a Son also) and I shall raise him in the last day. ( I is the Father, not Jesus.)
To your last question is this two events or one event. It's two events. One, is our individual lives and what truths we pursue and find while in the flesh. We either become of the world, or of the Father, which brings eternal life to our soul and who's faith our life is in at the end of our life. No other can give us eternal life except the Father. Thus the second event is Death, which comes upon all flesh. Those who's faith and truth is in the Father and not the idols of men, his soul shall be raised on his last day back to the Father within the blink of an eye. Those who's souls are of the world, shall return back to this world until they find pure truth that leads to the one and only Father and is not of the teachings of men and their vain rituals and doctrines that separate and divide instead of bringing together all the flocks as one.
Jesus said in John 6: 37- 40: " All that the Father gives me "WILL" come to me and the one who comes to me I will certainly not cast out. For I have come down from heaven, not to do my own will, but the will of Him who sent me, that of all that He has given me I lose nothing, but raise it up on the last day. For this is the will of My Father, that everyone who beholds the Son and believes in HIM will have eternal life, and<<< I my self >>>raise him up on that last day." (John 6:37 -40)
This question really is asking us to determine within ourselves who is Jesus Christ? Also, sometimes i feel many people consider that because it is said that Jesus Christ if the first born that somehow we are equal with him, so my answer will try to address this.
The Son of God or one of the many sons of God?? Hmmm...
What is it about the U niqueness and Authority of Jesus Christ that makes him stand above us?
We need to study (Hebrews 1:1-2:4). This is deep, but on surface level, I see that the Father and Jesus Christ are One. All power and authority have been given to Jesus Christ. His appointment is Divine since the beginnings... as He is the Alpha and Omega.
It is Jesus Christ who raises us... as I understand this... Funny, that you mentioned the word trust, as it resonates within me too, that Our Father has complete Trust in His Only Begotten Son... and the Son trusts the Father exclusively ~ this bond so thoroughly complete, that if one were to look at Jesus Christ, then one sees the Father. That is why Jesus Christ could say, "if you see me, then you see the Father for He and I are ONE!" Jesus Christ had the "Fullness of God" in Himself!
Hebrews 1:1 says:
"After God spoke long ago in various portions and in various ways to our ancestors through the prophets, 2 in these last days he has spoken to us in a son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom he created the world."

What Does it Mean? God Has Spoken . . .???
In olden times Now, in these last days
14To our fathers To us
By various means By one means
At various times At one point in time
Partially Fully and once for all
Through the prophets Through His Son
Through prophets who spoke for God Through Jesus, who spoke as God
God revealed Himself to us by our Lord’s character, by His words, and by His deeds. Jesus reveals God to man by His entire being)

to be...cont'd... (no thumbs down by me... by the way!)
In summary...
I believe the answer is found in John 6: 37- 40: " All that the Father gives me "WILL" come to me and the one who comes to me I will certainly not cast out.
God bless us... for giving us His only begotten Son... Jesus Christ, I trust in thee and your Word.
