Ok: Impeach him; you just took away his benefits civilly. However, all the paperwork will not be in for his impeachment and signed until well after Biden's Inauguration. Trump knew exactly what he was doing. If you impeach him, you just attacked him civilly. Trump needs to be prosecuted criminally; but I know that won't happen. Presidents never get charged with crimes; even when guilty. Agree? I mean it hasn't happened in history, right?

Yes and they should save those funds for when the people get pissed off at Biden. Silly people don't they realize all the expense they have caused cuts help they can get. Now that they threw all those hissy fit riots the consequence is where are the food banks Trump was providing so they would not starve.
It can only be useful
as propaganda
i.e. as a sop to the public
"See, we're trying to do something about this..."
when in reality they know full well that won't do anything to solve the problem.
No, in fact impeaching Chump could save tax payers millions, for example the salary, secret service and other ex-president perks for the rest of his life. More importantly, however, we can’t let Trump incite a terrorist attack on American soil and just walk away without consequences.
Pelosi is hateful. She is possessed.
So we should just ignore his crimes? People freaking DIED because of the riot he incited. Get a freaking grip.
We pay Congress to do their job.
One of those duties is to keep America safe.
We need to remove the unstable fascist traitor as soon as possible.
On Jan 20 the Senate will postpone confirmation of Biden's cabinet picks and hear the impeachment case. Washington Post: "President-elect Joe Biden’s incoming administration is in danger of not having a single Cabinet official confirmed on Inauguration Day".
IF impeached by the House and found guilty by the Senate, Trump loses his lifetime pension, free health insurance, free office space and free staff.
Not to mention he would never be eligible to run for any office ever again.
So in the long run it probably SAVES taxpayer money.
He is not fit to be president one minute longer.
There's one very important reason Trump should be impeached - precedent. America must set an example that it will not tolerate this kind of behavior. Also, Trump doesn't have to be in office to be impeached. If the procedure takes place in six months it just means Trump will never be able to hold elected office again.
One more thing, and this is an honest question - does it cost more money to conduct an impeachment? The Senators and Representatives are paid with our tax dollars. Does it require additional tax dollars to conduct an impeachment beyond the base salary they already receive?
