I've heard it in a comedy skit before, although I don't remember what the meaning was. One of the actors says something, the other actor says だろうね, and then [insert laugh track].

It depends on what they are talking about, but I'd translated:
"I guess so."
"Yeah, that's possible."
"Yeah, could be."
だろうね comes from ~であるだろう
(about something that is possible to happen/ something that the person can really imagine.)

So depending on the context it could have been something like "I know, right?"
