In brief, I feel that existentialist is a person who knows that he is living with energy and breathe; and that he is not existing like a rock in a mountain.
Conflict may arise only if there is no common understanding, adjustment, approach and cooperation among the partners. We should know which particular conflict you are now referring. I mean the real context should be known before deciding.
