To me, 'healthy lifestyle' encompasses things that keep your mind, body & soul in good running order. That means eating a well balanced diet. I also enjoy some sweets now & then. Exercising in moderation. I enjoy taking walks & bicycling. Staying as stress free as possible. This means not allowing people or events to anger you too much. I enjoy meditation. Enjoying your surroundings, by watching nature (trees, flowers, birds, etc). Having hobbies. Volunteering. It feels good to help others. Keep the mind sharp, by taking classes or reading. Having family & friends to share your joys & sorrows with. Having a belief in a higher power. Having a sense of humor. Those are the things I believe keep one healthy.

A healthy lifestyle to me is living healthy for yourself, the animals and the planet. That's way I follow the low fat raw vegan lifestyle. I eat raw fruits and veggies because it's healthiest for my body, I exercise for the same reason, I surround myself with positive people, animals don't die for my meals and I don't contribute to polluting our planet.
