Today, she is my favorite. Despite the popularity factor, I really love Emily. She's sweet, feminine, elegant, versatile, and so beautiful. Plus "Emmy" and "Millie" are button-cute nicknames! Beatrix I adore. I love her spunk and offbeat attitude; her sound is so eclectic and very lovely. I also love that both are fairly literary. A+ for that. haha.
So what do you think, popularity aside (please--I mean, it's declining anyway), of Emily Beatrix, "Emmy/Millie"?
BQ: How do Arthur Miles, "Teddy," and Emily Beatrix, "Emmy/Millie," sound as a sibset?
Thank you! :)
Update:@Elizabeth G. Haha, sorry! xp I usually never do that, it must be the morning getting to me x)

Very beautiful!
I am always disappointed that Emily is so popular, because I really love it too. But I guess it's popular for a reason! It definitely has all the qualities you mentioned. I also describe Beatrix exactly how I would. I think the sweet Emily and the spicier Beatrix match each other well, because they complete each other.
BQ: Arthur Miles and Emily Beatrix would make a wonderful sibset! They both have the same timeless but slightly eclectic style. I am curious though: How do you get the nickname "Teddy" from Arthur? I've just never heard it.
I think you said it best yourself. Emily is mega popular but she is an enduring classic. She fits many personalities and is very versatile plus fairly literary. I adore Beatrix! It has a beautiful offbeat spunk. I would prefer Beatrix as the first name personally but the combination of Emily Beatrix does flow wonderfully.
BQ: Arthur Miles and Emily Beatrix make an awesome sibset.
Have an awesome day! :)
Well my name's Emily and while I sort of disliked when I was younger, I've grown to quite like my name! I suppose you can't really hate your name if people like Emily Bronte and Emily Dickson had the same first name as you:) Most people just call me Emily, except my parents who call me "Emmy." Some of my friends call me "Emzah" (Pretty weird people.) Funnily enough, I don't know anyone who's name is Emily and is called "Millie!" I can see how it'd work though.
I quite like Beatrix! It is very interesting and creative. I prefer Beatrice though. While both names are quite similar, I just love the grace and elegance of Beatrice.
BQ: Arthur Miles is nice but I prefer the nickname, "Artie." Arthur & Emily sound very good!
I love it.
I've always loved the name Emily, it's so short and sweet and adorable. I love Emmy for a nickname, not so keen on Millie.
Beatrix is stunning, I haven't heard it in a while and I kind of like. Very nice!
BQ: Not keen on Arthur as a name.
Very nice...Emily is very popular, but still strong, pretty, and timelessly classic. Beatrix is beautiful, spunky, uncommon, and makes a nice unexpected middle name for Emily. Personally I'd prefer Beatrix Emily because I think most girls would rather have a more uncommon first name, but it's nice either way.
Arthur Miles is very handsome and sophisticated, and goes nicely with Emily Beatrix...although I think Beatrix Emily would go a bit better, because Arthur is more on the uncommon, stylishly old-fashioned side, like Beatrix...Emily would go better with a timelessly popular brother name like William or Alexander.
(And sorry, but I gotta say...I find it really precious and annoying when people refer to names as "she" and "he" as if they're actual people...)
Edit: Good to know! I've seen some users who do it ALL. THE. TIME. Which makes me want to slap them! It actually makes it unclear whether they're talking about names, or people with those names.
It's a great name! You're right Emily is such a pretty name, and even though it is popular it is declining in rank and at least the middle name is less popular and there are different nicknames you can use. Beatrix is cute and playful and a little different. I've even considered the name for ny future child :). It is a good march with Emily! Hope this helps!
I don't like Beatrix. Sorry. I prefer Emma to Emily. Arthur & Millie are gorgeous though.
Remember, it's not all about "button cute". Names have to age well. Your choices will (bar Emily in my opinion).
Emily Miratrix
Adorbz!! I always like unique names like that!
I love it! And it you love it that's all that matters.
