I read a book once where a male character had this name. I'm not usually one for uncommon names but I think this one works. It's very simple and doesn't follow the same trendy naming styles that are currently popular (eg. Kingsley, Brexton, Ryder, Shyler, etc.) Hollis feels classier than those and it's very simple.
