Ick. Yuck. I had a moore fish with ick. I think it might be too late for your little fishies, but you can get ick medication at petco. it's a blue medicine, that you drop into the water for a few days. that would clear it right up. It did work for my fish. he lived another year after that. both before and after the ick is dealt with. you might also want to completely change the water as ick is contageous. if there are other fish in the tank, seperate the infected fish and treat both bowl and tank with the ick medication. btw, you can get a refund for the petstore selling you an infected fish.

Ah I'm sorry...that's unfortunate. I lost many a gold fish to this as well. You can't win against it, it's really hard. Just keep trying to use what you're using...but don't be surprised if they die. That so called "medicine" doesn't usually work either. Go buy some new ones from a clean tank at a good pet store....you'll just have to try again.

Mix 1 teaspoon of table salt (without iodine) per 2 gallons of water in your tank . Repeat this dose 3 times every 12 hrs and you should see that they are cured.

Adding to city guy's answers, raise the temperature in the tank as well over some time. This speeds up ick's lifecycle which exposes them to the salt quicker.

Try adding salt for freshwater fish (one tablespoon for every five gallons). It will kill the ich, and cause the fish to produce more slime so they cannot suffer from a new attack, and heal faster.
