Hi There! I just had the same thing done a few months ago! I don’t remember anything about the surgery! But after word was painful! I think my shoulders were by far the worse!! The gas they use messes with your diaphragm and that makes your shoulders muscles hurt! I guess that keep my mind off my belly! I did use an ice pack for a few days and a heat pad on my shoulders! I was up and going in a few days! My surgery was on a Thursday and I went back to work Tuesday! I was fine Monday but I wanted a extra day off. Not for the pain but to really get my emotions in order! My doctor used Glue instead of stitches and I hated that stuff! I would have preferred to have stitches! i had a laparoscopy because of endometriosis, and i remember being sore for about 3 days afterwards, but other than that i dont really remember a whole lot- they completely knock you out, its only about a 3 hr stay in hosptal then you go home. good luck

I had my laparoscopy done tuesday, but they accidentely perforated my uterus during procedure and had to abandon op, may have to do it again. pain after was quite intense especially in shoulders from the gas but i'm feeling ok now. good luck to you!. my experience only happens rarely so dont think it will happen to you.
