Was Palin's "we eat therefor we hunt" a shout out to René Descartes?
The original phrase was latin, cogito ergo sum, meaning, I think, therefor I am.
Pretty heavy, coming from the former Alaskan Governor.
Update:I know exactly what she meant. But I chose to dismiss it since I am pretty sure she doesn't eat the wolves that she hunts via air. It was the wolf killing that caused the controversy, not the hunting of other animals.

I doubt she even knows who Descartes is, most people don't.
Ruth: Yes, I am fully aware that Descartes was a mathematician (instead of "did math") as I had to take several semesters of calculus in college.
And my point wasn't necessarily a swipe at Palin. Like I said, most people don't know whom he was.
She hunts for sport and the pleasure of Killing . What does she eat wolf pups that she shoots from a plane ? What a freak en hypocrite she is .
As a Young woman I did go deer hunting for food here in the Mountains Of The South West where I grew Up.
But what Palin does is sacrilegious and elitist .

She knows other people do, but that's the point, it was meant for all the libs that attacked her because she does indeed hunt.... I myself hunt, as all my family... it puts food on the table!! People better get use to it and it might be a smart idea to learn if you dont know how.... the way the economy is the people that do know how will be at a far better advantage!!

You credit yourself with way too much intellect. I think kids can see this on cartoons. Just because a person can speak in a language even an 8th grader can understand does not mean she is stupid.
