Why did Jesus gain the name above every other name, other than Jehovah? The Scriptures at Philippians 2:5-11 gives us the answer. "Keep this mental attitude in that was also in Christ Jesus, who, although he was existing in God's form, gave no consideration to a seizure, namely, that he should be equal to God. NO! But he emptied himself and took a slave's form and became human. More than that, when he came as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to the point of death, yes, death on a torture stake. For this very reason, God exalted him to a superior position and kindly gave him the name that is above every other name, (10) so that in the name of Jesus every knee should bend--of those in heaven and those on earth and those under the ground--and every tongue should openly acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father." There is no other person on this earth that has ever obeyed his father as did Jesus Christ who is still sub-ordinate to his Father, Jehovah God. Yes, Jehovah is the Sovereign Lord of the universe, and Jesus is second to him. Psalms 8:1 puts it wonderfully: "O Jehovah our Lord, how majestic your name is throughout the earth; You have set your splendor even higher than the heavens!" How important is it that we know and call on Jehovah's name? (Exodus 9:13-16) Before the 7th plague of the 10 plagues on Egypt, Jehovah told Moses to speak to Pharaoh these words: "Get up early in the morning and take a position in front of Pharaoh, and you must say to him, 'This is what Jehovah the God of the Hebrews has said: "Send my people away so that they may serve me. For now, I am directing all my blows to strike your heart, your servants, and your people, so that you may know that there is no one like me in all the earth. For by now I could have thrust my hand out to strike you and your people with a devastating plague, ;and you would have been wiped out from the earth. But for this very reason I have kept you in existence; to show you my power and t o have my name declared in all the earth." Would this be the case today? Jesus' apostles had a meeting to discuss this matter and see what Acts 15:14 tells us: "Symeon has related thoroughly how God for the first time turned his attention to the nations to take out of them a PEOPLE FOR HIS NAME. Jehovah has now taken people from some 240 countries for his name. More than 10 million people from all nationalities, religions, and backgrounds are studying the Bible and preaching the good news about God's Kingdom in obedience to Matthew 24:14 and 28:19+20 We are told at Romans 10:13; 'For "everyone who calls on the name of Jehovah will be saved." Trinitarians argue that the name Jesus is greater than the name of God; who gave him this name.
Trinitarians argue that Jesus is the name that is the greatest in heaven and below, and this is true,
Yet Psalms 8:1 tells us that Jehovah's name is higher than the heaven, making Jesus' name below and second to Jehovah's name.
When Paul wrote "every name" it didn't include God's name, because it was God who gave him this elevated name.
Bowing down to Jesus doesn't mean worship, it mean obeisance.
We honor Jesus because his and our God and Father commands us, why? so that we can honor and glorify Jehovah, who gave Jesus his privilege.

hi there
there is no "other" in that verse. it was added by a false prophet to their corrupt sectarian paraphrase in order to deceive people.

Isaiah 45
21 Tell ye, and bring them near; yea, let them take counsel together: who hath declared this from ancient time? who hath told it from that time? have not I the Lord? and there is no God else beside me; a just God and a Saviour; there is none beside me.
22 Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.
23 I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.
Romans 14
10 But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.
11 For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.
12 So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God
Philippians 2
9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father
so to whom will every knee bow? or is scripture lost on you because of the spell your false prophet has cast over you?
They dont know...
Jehovah is just a name, nothing more. It was invented in the 1200's.
Read the following: Phil 2: 5 Keep this mental attitude in you that was also in Christ Jesus, 6 who, although he was existing in God’s form, gave no consideration to a seizure, namely, that he should be equal to God. 7 No, but he emptied himself and took a slave’s form and became human. 8 More than that, when he came as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to the point of death, yes, death on a torture stake. 9 For this very reason, God exalted him to a superior position and kindly gave him the name that is above every other name, 10 so that in the name of Jesus every knee should bend—of those in heaven and those on earth and those under the ground— 11 and every tongue should openly acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father. NWT 2013.
Note the last part of verse 11, NWT; RSV; KJV; AMP all read the same. God's name is Jehovah see the use in the NWT; The Divine Name KJV and others. Christendom have used pathetic excuses for not using God's name and the Roman Catholic Church have forbidden its use, have they not recited what is known as ''The Lords Prayer'' and said ''Our father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name,'' Mt 6:9 KJV. God's name is Jehovah, PS83:18 KJV. [note that the new version of the KJV no longer contains God's name!] Christendom are doing Satan's work for him.
Colossians 2:9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
Matthew 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Acts 19:5 When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.
The word Lord there is Adonai
and Since Jesus is God, I am not sure I see the point of this question
First explain Philippians 2. You seem to want to jump to psalm 8 and completely forget Philippians 2 and the fact that we are under a New Covenant in Christ. The Book of Psalms is under the old Covenant. Philippians is written under the New Covenant.
In 1913, Russian priests officially blasphemed the Name of the LORD by an official document.
This document says that Name of the LORD is kind of not special and has nothing to do with the LORD.
Oh really? So, why are Christians told to pray the Jesus prayer?
Basically, priests gotta repent of this document by writing a new document that says the old document was a heresy; forgive me.
