Both the ancient origins of Halloween and its modern customs show it to be a celebration based on false beliefs about the dead and invisible spirits, or demons
“There must never be anyone among you who consults ghosts or spirits, or calls up the dead.” (Deuteronomy 18:10-12) While some view Halloween as harmless fun, the Bible indicates that the practices associated with it are not. 1 Corinthians 10:20, 21: “I do not want you to be participants with demons. You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons too.”
Halloween costumes, candy, and trick or treat: According to the book Halloween—An American Holiday, An American History, some of the Celts wore ghoulish costumes so that wandering spirits would mistake them for one of their own and leave them alone. Others offered sweets to the spirits to appease them. In medieval Europe, the Catholic clergy adopted local pagan customs and had their adherents go from house to house wearing costumes and requesting small gifts. The Bible, on the other hand, does not permit merging false religious practices with the worship of God.2 Corinthians 6:17.
Ghosts, vampires, werewolves, witches, and zombies: These have long been associated with the evil spirit world. (Halloween Trivia) The Bible clearly states that we should oppose wicked spirit forces, not celebrate with them.Ephesians 6:12.

You do not know what you are talking about, and just because you read something in a book doesn't mean it is factual either even if it confirms your cherished faith-based paradigm. Halloween is a cultural harvest festival in which, in part, fears of death are spoofed --a carry over form a cultural (not religious) northern European festival called Samhain in which people prepared for the winter and faced their fears about dying during the winter. The festival included honoring those who had died. It was also a time for it to be ok for the poor to beg for food, which was transformed into trick or treating among children. The Bible says absolutely nothing about Halloween as it did not exist in the Middle East and was not called "Halloween" until something like the 19th century. Until the commercialization of Halloween, Samhain and All Hallows Eve were simply times to remember and honor the dead, celebrate the harvest and home, and prepare with the winter.
Not the bible but later Christianity!
Halloween is shortened from All Hallows' Evening which has its origins in the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain a celebration of the end of the harvest. But it was a day on which many northern European Pagan traditions or religious festivals were celebrated!!
Two Popes Gregory III and Gregory IV moved the old All Saints' Day from May 13 itself the date of a pagan holiday to try to hijack the pagan festival.
The Bible says NOTHING about Halloween. Most of your posting is superstitious nonsense. There are religious ideas around Halloween, but, not the ones you are thinking - quite the reverse, in fact.
For most kids, it is harmless fun.
Not a thing...
And even if it did, it would just be the claims of ancient superstitious mankind.. LOL
No gods required or in evidence... just your need to 'believe' it... LOL
EDIT: The History channel just had a great show on the history of Halloween... LOL
IMHO
There is only so much you can say about demons. You do like the converted pagans did in Paul's day.... During Yule celebrations, Christians had church instead which led to Christmas.
Its a pagan celebration not mentioned in scripture by name or concept
Jer 10:2 Thus saith the LORD, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them.
Nothing, as the holiday is European in origin. Nothing Middle Eastern about it.
And just so you know, NO modern person thinks that carved pumpkins scare away demons, not even people who think gods are real.

you answered your own question there Didn't you? I am not sure why you asked..
In any case, no one is forcing you to celebrate Halloween. And as far as I'm concerned, its more candy for me if you don't
It's just people dressing up and having a good time. It has nothing to do with cavorting with the devil. Kids just want candy.
