The women's movement has had no direct impact on fashion, but it did have a domino effect that lead to business dress for women. Some feminists have protested against fashion authorities who have tried to manufacture trends like "High Femininity" (i.e. ruffled dresses and pouf skirts at work) and Victorian lingerie (when Victoria's Secret first showed up, men bought the lacy stuff and women just bought plain old underwear).
Well for one we are not the little woman anymore. We dress and act with more freedom then we have ever had. The right to choice of the length of your dress , go can wear a dress up to your butt . You can go without underwear . Women have more rights today then they did sixty years ago. History has already proved that this year.
