I'm not understanding this question.. could someone please help me and explain it to me?
Knowing the current and resistance of the 8 ohm resistance , the voltage across eight ohm resistors
V = .410 (8)
That voltage is in parallel with the 16 ohm resister, find the current through the 16 ohm resistor.
ohms law.
the currents from the 8 ohm resistor and the 16 ohm resistor add and then flow through the 20 ohm resistor.
find the voltage across the 20 ohm resistor and add to the voltage of the 8,16 ohm combination to get the voltage of the battery
a) 0.615, b) 1.73
