Einstein's equations showed him that the Universe was either contracting or expanding. At the time astronomical telescopes were too small to confirm this either way and the evidence, such as it was, showed the Universe was static, mainly because distant galaxies were still invisible. Our own collection of stars were all that were easily seen and though they orbit the galactic centre their motion relative to the Earth is small. Einstein introduced a "cosmological constant" to make the equations describe a static Universe. He later said that this was his greatest mistake.
Despite this, his prediction that the path of light through space could be bent by gravity was confirmed in 1919 by astronomical observations done by Eddington and several more times during the 1920s by others. if this had not happened his reputation would not be as great.
it was only after the construction of the 100 inch telescope just after the first world war that showed the Universe was expanding and other "island universes" now called galaxies existed.
Advances in technology advance science.
When you stop misrepresenting science and the history of science you might earn something less than utter contempt.
I have already answered your "evolution" question in which you misrepresent science again and repeat a direct lie.
I have nothing but contempt for you and your fellow parasites on religion. You people digust me.
Mislabeling! The Static Universe was not theory but a hypothesis; it was one solution to a set of equations. And Einstein later described the mathematical gimmick (the cosmological constant) by which he chose that as a favored solution as his own worst error.
Hypotheses get formulated and discarded without a problem when counter-evidence appears. That's what happened to the Static Universe, and that's what hypotheses are for.
Evolution has HAD a closer look taken for a century and a half now, and no counter-evidence has ever been found. (Lots of claims of counter-evidence have been made, but none held up to scrutiny.) Whole new areas of science have been discovered and found to support the theory of evolution.
You know that's grand scale? everything on earth counts for 0.00000000000000000000000000000000001% of the universe....He wasn't talking about our world in particular, you're just to stupid to understand.

David, remember when we were both punching babies in the Mcdonalds downtown?
Let's do that again okay?
You'd better explain away all the Bible "facts" first.

Yeah, cause science is and absolute truth and dogmatic, or is that religion?
I say we take a closer look at religion, hrmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm?

Remember pretty much everything written in the entire Bible?
Einstein was also wrong about quantum mechanics. He was shown to be wrong by other scientists.
lol I'd love to see you try to disprove evolution! Have at it, then! Unless you're bluffing :)
Not sure if a troll that is pretending to be christian
or very stupid
