Most people would probably feel that it is a compliment to be thought of as an easygoing. However, there is another side to easygoingness. “The easygoingness of the stupid is whatdrew will destroy them.” (Proverbs 1:32) What does that mean?
In this sense, easygoingness is linked to laziness and carelessness and thus to stupidity or foolishness.
In the first century, Christians in the congregation in Laodicea were blithely unaware of or complacent about their spiritual deficiencies.Jesus Christ corrected them, calling for a revival of their Christian zeal.—Revelation 3:14-19
Easygoing complacency was also characteristic of the people in Noah’s day. They were preoccupied with the mundane things of life. Jesus then added: “So the presence of the Son of man will be.”—Matthew 24:37-39
Fulfilled Bible prophecies indicate that we are living during “the presence of the Son of man,” Jesus Christ. May we never become complacent, careless, smug—easygoing in the wrong sense.—Luke 21:29-36
Im not sure what translation that is you have there but I'll share mine, "the waywardness of the inexperienced will kill them". To understand one verse you need the whole chapter. It says before this that wisdom is like a woman calling in the streets, it is available to all. so it can be interpreted like this. Solomon says that turning away from the calls of wisdom, ignoring it will ultimately lead to destruction.
My version says.....for the turning away of the simple will slay them, and the complacency of fools will destroy them.
Proverbs 1 is divided into different sections. It warns against giving an open invitation to sin and not listening to wisdom.
Earlier in the chapter it says the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom but fools despise wisdom and instruction. It is a clear line drawn between what happens when you listen to God as opposed to if you do not

their simple ways will destroy them
Choose wisdom.
It does not really matter.
The bible is not a true story.
It very perfectly describes "jesus" and his nonchalant ways.
Jesus was too stupid to realize that trying to "act" like the messiah of the Jews
would not be looked upon favorably .... not even by the people of the Jewish Faith themselves.
The little baastard walked around, said idiotic things, and took the "easy way out" .... and look what it got him.

Context: 29 Because they hated knowledge,
and the fear of the LORD they did not choose.
30 They ignored my counsel,
they spurned all my reproof;
31 Well, then, they shall eat the fruit* of their own way,
and with their own devices be glutted.
32 For the straying of the naive kills them,
the smugness of fools destroys them.
33But whoever obeys me dwells in security,
in peace, without fear of harm.”f
(*f. Proverbs 8:33-34)
It means EXACTLY what it says.
