i need help on my home work this is the only question I'm stumped on please answer fast?
first subtract 7x from both sides to get -5y=10-7x
then multiply both sides by -1/5 to get y=7/5x-2
the point of solving for y is to get it alone on one side of the equation
7x – 5y = 10
-5y = -7x + 10
divide both sides by -5
y = -7x/-5 + 10/-5
y = 7/5x - 2
-5y=-7x+10
y=7/5x-2
