Solve for E°' of half reaction?

1/2 O2 + H2 ----> H2O
1/2 O2 + 2H+ + 2e- ----> H2O -0.816
2H+ + 2e- ---> H2 -0.42
This reaction is reversed, but i don't understand why. Can someone explain how you solve this type of problem?

It's just like the Hess problems , you need to reverse the third equation and plus it with second equation in order to get the first equation and reach it's E .
1/2 O2 + 2H+ + 2e ------> H2O ......... -0.816
......................H2 -------> 2H+ + 2e-.... 0.42 (reversed so E is positive now)
plus these two and remove 2e- and 2H+ from each side, then it would be the first equation with E°'= -0.396
