why? or maybe i should ask, for what? what is your goal with representation? are you trying to stay in? if you are not medically qualified to stay in, there is not much a lawyer can do for you. if you are being chaptered out for medical issues, you want to make sure you get what is coming to you from the VA
Talk to the JAG office. However, they do two types of board. An informal board is they meet and make a decision. You can accept it or reject it. If you reject it you have to go before a full board. There you can make your points. Basically you have two, you are either MORE or LESS disabled than they say........and that either DOES or DOES NOT disqualify you from service. For example, if you want out, you argue that you are more disabled than they say and that you should be medically retired rather than medically separated. Or you say your problem is not as bad as they say and you should be allowed to stay on active duty.
Your board will meet and render a decision. If you decide to appeal that decision, you should use your Legal Assistance office on base for help immediately. Good luck.
There is NOTHING to represent. In a prior question, you claim you have diabetes. Unless someone can prove that statement false, nothing else is relevant.

for what? you don't need legal help until its time to apply for any VA entitlements
Precisely what base legal is for. I suggest you contact them.
Absolutely, once the MEB is completed, you will have a chance to appeal any decision.
They will even provide you with a lawyer to help.
