ISIS wants to be called Islamic. To them, “Islamic extremists” is a compliment. But do they really believe in Islam? Why give them even a hint of the legitimacy they crave? Isn’t “Satanic extremists” a better term?
After all, they believe in murder, torture, rape, beheadings, total subjugation of women, destruction of civilization, burning people alive, burying people alive. . . Aren’t these values more like Satan than any religion? You don’t even have to believe Satan exists in order to realize “Satanic” describes them. Of course, all religions (and non-religious movements) have had their share of extremists, but most of us realize people like that are hypocrites who don’t really follow their religion. Aren’t the ultimate hypocrites ISIS? They don’t have any sort of compassion or love, only hate.
I’m not saying we should ignore the fact that they could from an Islamic background. That is vitally important when it comes to investigating potential recruits and sources of funding. But should we call them Islamic?

If they say they espouse Islam, then they are Islamic extremists, just like a "Christian" organization that kills people would be called a Christian extremist group. However, I do think that the name "ISIS" should be replaced with the "Caliphate of Satan".
They are not the ULTIMATE hypocrites. Even the US government considers Christian fundies a threat to national security. ISIS is doing what the Koran says to do. christians aren't doing what Jesus said to do. In that context, Christians are the ultimate hypocrites
ISIS want us to call them Islamic so they can laugh among each other and say "Look even the Infidels think we are Islamic!"

No. They are merely emulating their prophet. Let's be thankful majority of Muslims are not that serious about their faith.
" After all, they believe in murder, torture, rape, beheadings, total subjugation of women, destruction of civilization, burning people alive, burying people alive. . . Aren’t these values more like Satan than any religion?"
Actually that sounds more like the OT god (Yahweh) then it does like Satan
Does the Koran support what they do?
If you look in the book for 'validation', can you find it?
Yeah aren't those the literal interpretations of the quran and hadith?
