If you own a maltese-shih tzu mix dog, or know someone who does,
what health and behavior problems have you had if any.
Also, what is thier personality like. Are they curious, or loyal, or fun to have around, or annoying. Is it a good family dog? Any special care needed to take care of the dog? Anything else, please add. Thanks.

These dogs have tooth decay problems. They are great family dogs.
hypoallergenic (hair keeps growing like humans, so it sheds less)
you'll have to giev it a haircut once in a while.
I would suggest Angel Eyes supplement. I own a pet grooming salon and this stuff really works well. Also, a little trick we use to keep the eye drainage from settling in the corners of the eyes, take a tiny amount of vaseline on the end of your pinky finger, after you have cleaned this area well, and dab it on the corner of each eye. Just a little tiny amount prevents the drainage from settling there and it just rolls over the vaseline and does not stain as bad or get hard, which can cause your pup to get raw spots under the drainage. Also, a little flea comb used at least every other day on this area will keep it clean. You can ask your groomer to use the thinning shears to take excess hair from the inside corners as well. As far as shampoos, there are a wide variety of great products available. I like the Bio-groom line, as well as Davis Manufacturing products. However, the source of that beautiful flowing coat starts inside your pup. Make sure that they do not have any internal parasites and keep up with the flea and tick control through your vet. I would also suggest feeding a premium food such as Blue Buffalo, Nature's Choice, Bil-Jac or Iams. You will not get the full potential for your pups if you feed a cheap food that lacks proper nutrition. And of course, use that brush, but make sure you use a comb after the brush. A comb should drop through the coat without hitting matts or other debris. Hope this helps.
