Please answer the math equation above and show your steps, if you would... I need help. :S
Thanks.. Michelle
I would help since I LOVE those types of problems, but I'm way too lazy.
Just go on the math section.
Ï(r+6)² = 15(2Ïr) + 2 Ïr²
Ï(r+6)(r+6) = 15(2Ïr) + 2 Ïr²
Ï (r² + 12r + 36) = 15(2Ïr) + 2 Ïr²
Ï (r² + 12r + 36) = 30Ïr + 2Ïr²
Ï (r² + 12r + 36) = Ï (30r + 2r²)
r² + 12r + 36 = 30r + 2r²
12r + 36 = 30r + r²
36 = 18r + r²
r² + 18r - 36 = 0
Use the quadratic equation, with a = 1, b = 18, and c = -36
r = 1.8167
r = -19.817
do your own home work and not try to take credit for others giving you the correct answer this is called cheating. cheaters never ever learn any thing in life
Let's see...
well, the (r+6) goes to (r+6)(r+6), because it's squared. then do distributive property, with pi(r+6) (r+6).
and then . . . simplify the right side with, you know, multiplication and addition, etc. then solve for r. I'm assuming you're solving for r.
OR . . . . use a calculator! hooray! :D :D :D
It burns it burns!
Make it go away!
Please!
Take it to the math section! They knew what they're doing there!
I swear this was the question I got two years ago in CXC.
I didn't do it lol
Your question is making my eyes sad.
Y!A has a math section.
Use it.
pi is 3.14. plug them in and you can find your radius by solving the equation.
i would help, but i completely suck at math :D
