I certainly think that this phenomenon is a major contributor to the current state of our country. Since there is no chance of limiting the franchise to those who do not receive income from the government, I believe that any battle to get spending under control is inevitably going to be a seemingly Sisyphean uphill climb that will be quite difficult to pursue. What we have been seeing in European countries (especially Greece) lately is the result of unsustainable programs having to be cut back and the violent reactions that have ensued from some - and I am deeply concerned that this sort of violence is unfortunately all too possible in America in the approaching future.
Pretty much. This is class warfare, and I'm not talking about rich and poor, it's the productive class versus the dependent class. The government is obviously on the side of the dependents so it's an uphill battle for those of us trying to live the American Dream.
noticeably plenty. it somewhat is class conflict, and that i'm not speaking approximately prosperous and adverse, this is the efficient class as against the based class. the government is obviously on the factor of the dependents so this is an uphill conflict for those people attempting to stay the yank Dream.
Yeah that's right. It's called democracy and our founding fathers warned us about it. Unfortunatley we didn't listen to Franklin and we allowed Jews to live among us.

That was actually part of a bigger speech. It also pointed ut that the average age of a Republic before its demise was 200 years.
Just like Rome, with bread and circuses to keep the masses entertained. And our 200 years is up.
Yup too many people voting for the politician who promises so much, like welfare, more jobs, etc.

Yes, it is one of the main reasons, not the only one though..
That would explain what the Koch Brothers are doing.
Buying votes for more money.
This nation is failing because the rich think they can buy tax cuts.
