A lot of names which started as one gender become popular with another gender. For example, the name Shirley, which seems to be an exclusively female name now, used to be a boy's name and only began to be used for girls when Charlotte Bronte wrote a novel about a heroine with a male name. Similarly, the name Morgan used to be a boy's name and is now used by either boys or girls. If you want to take a boy's name, there's no reason why you shouldn't.
well, yes it's typically a boys name but there are also some girls with that name, so you can use it.
you can name yourself whatever you want
