I was a reluctant reader. My first book was the first three lemony snicket books. I devoured them. As a child (and indeed as a grown-up too), I had a very dark imagination and these books just captured my attention. I loved them. A lot of people say J K Rowling got them into reading, but for me, it was Lemony Snicket (Daniel Handler). I love him.
