When I say similar move, I mean the type of move that prevents the foe to run away.
If possible, could you also trade me a Mespirit? I sort of killed it when I was hunting it because I got angry.
As a reward or trading me a pokèmon with Mean Eyes(or similar move), I'll give you a rare candy(I'll attach it to a pokèmon).

Mean Look is a non-damaging Normal-type move introduced in Generation II. The user affixes the foe with a dark, arresting look. The target becomes unable to flee until the foe has fainted or caught. So, yes. If your Crobat used Mean Look on the first turn, Raikou will NOT be able to run away until its caught or killed. To make sure it doesn't use Roar, have a Pokemon that has the move 'Disable'. Disable randomly selects one move that is in the opponent's current move set and whose current PP is greater than 0, and gives it a randomly chosen disable duration length of 1-8, which is reduced by 1 each time the pokémon attempts to execute an attack. While the move is disabled, a message of "disabled!" will appear in place of the disabled move's PP, and the opponent will be unable to use the move until the round after Disable wears off (attempting to select the move will just result in a notice that the move is disabled). While most of the time, Disable randomly selects a move, it might select the move used last. Turns spent flinching, fast asleep, frozen solid, recharging, or partially trapped will not count towards the Disable duration length. This will be great for Raikous "Roar" This way, he can't switch you out until disables turns are over. And yes, Soundproof does not allow "Roar" to work. But, Roar, last time I checked always goes second. Hope I Helped and Good Luck with catching Raikou
I think it is mean look, my misdrevous has it, I'll trade, email if you want to trade.
