Last Tuesday I sent a text to my best friend asking a little question but didn´t got a reply from her that day, which was strange because I´ve known her for about 2 years and she has NEVER ignored my text/ring before. It was two days later that I got a reply from her, and it read: "[As for your question, I] dunno what to say... / Anyway, sorry for replying soo late, I got sick so am in the hospital now..."
However she sent that text when I was out with my other friends (around 9pm) so I noticed her text around 4am the next day. I replied back immediately even though it was late because I was worried about her, but again didn´t get a reply. Now it´s been 4 days and still no reply, no ring, no nothing. I´ve phoned her three times but she never picked up, I sent her another text that went like "Are you very ill? Let me know what happened... I´m so getting worried!" but again, no reply.
She´s 28 and is a very thoughtful person so it´s not likely that she got upset just because I didn´t reply immediately to her text. I´m so worried and scared that something bad might have happened to her. What should I do? :(
Update:I don´t know any of her family members and I have no idea what hospital she is in so I can´t visit her as much as I would like to... She is actually my ex-tutor and is a very private person, so our mutual acquaintance is this tutor that she used to work with but I don´t know where this person is working now. I´m so worried, she looked perfectly okay last time I hung out with her which is about 8 days ago :(

Not to scare you or anything, I told my friends the same thing (told them I was sick and was in the hospital.) I couldn't reply to their texts for a week because I was in the psychiatric ward of the hospital for some... stuff. If you know that you're friend has a history of depression, maybe that's the reason. Or she really is ill. I would talk to her parents about it. Good luck. :)
Well...if she is sick and at the hospital you ought to go visit. If you know any of her family you can call and ask them what is going on.
