Please help what is the best foundations for very fair skin and dry skin ;)?
Please help i am very fair and every foundations i use gives me a brake out or make me look orange and allso alot of spots i have dry skin and oily t zone what is a good foundations for me

No worrys my spellings messed up to.I have the very same problem,Theres reallt not a foundation that will help.What I do is buy the nivia cream in the blue and white tin for 99 cents at a drug store like rite aid.I put a dime size amount on my hand rub hands together and put it on my face the night before after I wash my face with dove soap.In the morning I wash my face agan and reapply nivia cream and than apply covergirl foundation the classic ivory and than the compact.You can use covergirl because it dont say but it has noxema in it.You dont want to use an oil based foundation because it contains oil that has harsh cleansers in it plus it does leave an orange finish.Plus over the day it clogs your pores.So as somone with dry skin thats what I do good luck.
Sorry, but an oil based foundation will NOT cause your skin to turn orange. There are two reasons that would happen:
1. Sometimes when you put a foundation on your skin, the pigment in the foundation can react to the natural oils in your skin and create an orange hue. It's a chemical reaction so to speak It just depends upon your skin...
2. You are using a foundation that has the wrong undertone for your coloring.
That being said, since you have skin that is on the dry side,I recommend Mehron's Celebré Pro HD Make-Up. It's a cream foundation that is made for HD use. Revlon ColorStay Makeup, Combination/Oily Skin, 1-Ounce is my first day using this foundation and I love it love it love it. I have been using Maybelline superstay for the last 2 years. I decided to try Revlon after reading all the wonderful reviews on amazon and I have to say...its wonderful wonderful wonderful. Its not as heavy as Maybelline and the Caramel is just right for my skin. I moved to the caribbean and my complexion has changed abit and mybelline was not working for me anymore. Will definately recommend this to all my family and friends.
