I want to make sentence by using " be indifferent to"

One mistake is "then". It should be "than." You might consider: Usually, governments are indifferent to everything except money.

The only obvious mistake is, it should be "other THAN".
But there's another thing that doesn't sound right to me--"everything other than".
I think--though I'm not absolutely sure--that one would say either "anything other than" or "everything except".
