God is merciful. He will forgive us if we repent of our sins and we avoid re-offending Him. He will know if we are sincere or not in our repentance.
True, Jesus Christ sacrified His life to save mankind from sins. Will that be sufficient for all of mankind to go to Heaven whether one is good or evil? What then is the purpose of Hell if everyone will go to Heaven anyway? Is the sacrifice of Jesus needed at all?

God is good, merciful and forgiving. According to Scripture
(I John I: 9)
''If you confess your sins He is faithful and just to forgive you and cleanse you from all unrighteousness.'' You must ask for forgiveness.
Those who accept the free gift of salvation( Christ's sacrificing His life for us) will spend eternity with God. Good or evil? You can't just be
good and go to heaven and certainly not evil. You must be born again!
1. Agree with God that you have sinned( Romans 3:23; 6:23)
2. Repent- to be godly sorry for offending God (2 Cor. 7:10)
commit to turning away, never to practice it again
3. Confess Jesus/ ask Him to come into your heart/be Lord
( Romans 10: 9,10,13)
Everyone is not going to heaven/those who reject Him will go to hell.
(Psalm 9:17; Revelations 19:20 )
Jesus has stated that there is "no one good but God" (see: Luke Chapter 18, verse 19). Therefore, we have to conclude that all humans are evil before God. This equally, applies to Christians too (see: Matthew chapter 7, verse 11). God does however, state that He will not forgive our sins IF we do not forgive others who sin against us (see: Matthew chapter 6, verse 15). Now , to address the rest of your question. "Hell" is described in various places in the Bible as "outer darkness" ( I can't see how it could be dark with flames from fires lighting the place up - can you?) Actually; God will never permanently get rid of any human UNLESS once he or she has FULLY tasted of the grace of God (from being within a spiritual relationship with Him), experienced the full impact of God's UNconditional love and then - only then, he or she decides that the course of rebellion, selfishness and evil are much better choices to pursue than the ways of God's love, God will permanently isolate the individual(s) by casting them into "outer darkness". God is in the saving business and God is not angry with anyone. The sacrifice that Jesus provided for us, was because it requires nothing short of God, to die for God, to atone all the collective sins of all humans ever born. Since that event 2 thousand years ago, we now have access to God the Father, through Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. Sin had cut us off from God the Father but Jesus' death paid for us.
The only problem with that of course is how do you get around the oxymoron of there being an omnipotent being and us having free will. Seeing as the two things are mutually exclusive.
Because it would not matter how much free will you think you'd have, you would be unable to change your lot or anything, if the outcome of everything is all ready known.
Life would be like a cart without a horse to pull it... predetermined from birth and pointless. So why would an omnipotent being deliberately create an atheist.
Practicing Shaman.. .quantum physics rocks.
Everyone will not be going to Heaven or living in the Kingdom of God.
There will be many that will be thrown into the Lake of Fire along with Satan, his demons, the beast, the Antichrist and all that are followers of Satan.
Yes, the true God will forgives us even if we don't ask Him to . . .
IF
We repent of the sins we need forgiveness for.
Yeshua Messiah (Jesus Christ) is very much needed in order for Man to have communication with the Living God, so yes He was very much needed.
Be Blessed:-)
Jesus invites everyone to follow... if they don't want to he's not pushy. He moves on. Very, very few will chose the narrow path. Why? Because there is a lot of submission and sacrifice involved. The payoff is incredible. The payoff is living with your spirit as a resident of God's kingdom of heaven while you're still alive on this planet. The kingdom has come near.
Students are not greater than their teacher, and slaves are not greater than their master. But students are like their teacher, and slaves are like their master.
There are people on this planet who have chosen to serve a the master of deception and do his bidding, although they don't even know it. I know. I used to be one of them.
The "TRUE" God, which is not from any religion, well indeed forgive us. How could a God be unforgiving to a species whom he/she gave the power to defy his/her own word. If anything, God would probably be kicking himself/herself in the rear for allowing us to have this ability. Like giving your brand new Lamborghini to your teenage kids. Ain't there fault they smashed it up, you gave them the keys.
sorry dude, not everyone will go to Heaven, only those that have accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior will and those that do not or simply thinking there is no God or Jesus will end in hell--it a place for the devil but sadly, those that do not ask for forgiveness for our sins will end there too. so ask Jesus to forgive you and ask Him to enter you heart, no need to change your deeds He takes care of that too. so pray and ask for His forgiveness.
oh yeah, Jesus did not sacrificed His life, He willingly gave it up to amend for our many sins--and it means for all humanity if humanity accepts Him as Lord and Savior.
the idea the everyone will go to heaven is a misguided concept (many do and accept this to be universal and hoped for to be true) and this would make Jesus' death needless, but for forgiveness there was a need for a lamb to cleanse us of our sins.
No Jesus said you need a spiritual birth to go to heaven. (John 3:3)
Many people will go to hell. the narrow path leads to heaven and few there are that find it.
He did his part, now you do your part.
I agree. To the extent that Jesus was willing to suffer tells us how terrible death is.
To those that are faithful, and repent they can have everlasting life in Heaven.
(If you disagree send me an email and I can show you).
Jesus obtained forgiveness for all the sins ever committed , all we need to do is be sorry for our sins and intend not to commit them again and if you are catholic, you need to go to confession to a priest for mortal sins
